Pepsi started its DJ project as part of the Refresh Everything campaign. To let fans connect with the DJs, they asked the artists to keep a regular blog and upload pictures, music and updates from the road for six months. Once a week, Pepsi posted a new mix from one of the DJs.<\/p>

We built the site using WordPress, filling it out with plug-ins we wrote to improve the experience for the users and DJs. The music player we did in JavaScript worked on mobile phones and across browsers, letting people stream the music anywhere. We linked the DJs\u2019 Twitter and Flickr feeds to the site, and let them upload photos directly to the site. The site launched ten days after we began. \n<\/p>

We turned WordPress into a mobile hub for the DJs, and let them put a ton of content up.
